Walker Books is an independent British publisher of children's books, founded in 1978 by Sebastian Walker.

The success of their Where's Wally? series enabled them to expand into the American market, starting a sister company called Candlewick Press in 1991.[1]

Amelia Edwards, co-founder of Walker Books, was presented with the Eleanor Farjeon Award in 2001 for her contributions to children's literature through her role as the publisher's art director.[2]

The company's logo of a bear holding a candle was designed by Helen Oxenbury and has come to be seen as "a symbol of quality books for children."[3]

The company have supported Bliss, the special care baby charity since 2008.
